| Abstract
|

This is Circular No. 05 of the Royal Government of Cambodia on Food Security and Nutrition. Its content is based on the recommendations of the first National Seminar on Food Security and Nutrition in April 1999, and the Food Aid Conference in Cambodia, which proposed measures to tackle Food Security and Nutrition issues at national, community and household levels. These have acted as a vital mechanism for reducing malnourishment and food insecurity, especially among women and children, such that the government has incorporated them in the poverty reduction and socio-economic development policies of the country. |
