Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Mapping and Information
System (FIVIMS)
FIVIMS is a network of systems that assembles, analyses and disseminates
information on key questions such as:
-
Who are the food insecure?
-
Why are they food insecure or vulnerable?
The main objectives of FIVIMS are:
-
To improve the quality of food insecurity and vulnerability data
-
To provide easily accessible tools for analysis of the national food security
situation
-
To improve access to information through networking and sharing
-
To increase overall attention to food security issues
The focal point for the National FIVIMS in Cambodia is the Ministry of
Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).
