Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Mapping and Information System (FIVIMS)

FIVIMS is a network of systems that assembles, analyses and disseminates information on key questions such as:
  • Who are the food insecure?
  • Where are they located?
  • Why are they food insecure or vulnerable?

The main objectives of FIVIMS are:
  • To improve the quality of food insecurity and vulnerability data
  • To provide easily accessible tools for analysis of the national food security situation
  • To improve access to information through networking and sharing
  • To increase overall attention to food security issues

The focal point for the National FIVIMS in Cambodia is the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).
