seeks a
National Food Security Information Consultant
for a five week consultancy
The consultant will take the lead in conducting a Food Security and Nutrition Information Scoping Study that focuses on (1) the supply side to understand existing information systems, products, strengths and weaknesses; (2) the demand side to understand who are the information users and what are their requirements; and (3) identifying activities that will help fill the gap.
Candidates require at least 10 years of relevant experience in food security and nutrition related information systems, analysis and reporting. The consultant will be well acquainted with the range of relevant institutions (government and non-governmental) involved in the collation, flow and use of information for decision-making purposes. Candidates should be available immediately on a full time basis. Excellent English (written and spoken) is required.
