The World Bank is organizing a Consultation Meeting on Scaling Up Nutrition Investment in the East Asia and Pacific Region
in Bali, Indonesia from the
June 8 -11, 2010. The main objectives of the meeting are 1)To provide an opportunity for country teams to meet and review the nutrition situation in their respective countries, and develop a business plan outlining next steps in moving toward investing in and addressing conditions of malnutrition at scale 2)To share current technical nutrition information and effective approaches to prevention and treatment of undernutrition, as well as strategies to prevent or mitigate overnutrition 3)To provide an opportunity for exchange of information and experience regarding operational successes and challenges in implementing nutrition programs in the region.
