Provincial Forum on “Sustainable Fisheries Resources for Sustainable Livelihood and Living”

Council for Agriculutural and Rural Development (CARD) will organize Provincial Forum on
“Sustainable Fisheries Resources for Sustainable Livelihood and Living” at provincial as well as commune levels. The Forum will organise on
July 08, 2010 at Pursat city, Pursat province.
Objectives of the Forum are to
- Provide understanding about the significance of fisheries resources to participants as well as procedures for managing confiscated fishing materials;
- Create participatory ideas to reserve and develop fishery resources in Community Fisheries for sustainable fishery resources as well as livelihoods;
- Seek for opportunities to expand work for community people which do not rely on only one job;
- Recommendation and experience resulted from the seminar will be used for improving national policy through CARD meetings and forum.
