Press Release FAO To Conduct Master Training To Improve Nutrition Practices
FAO-EU Food Facility Project, FAO will conduct a training of Master Trainers dealing with trials of improved nutrition practice (TIPs) in the General Directorate of Agriculture from 9 to 12 March 2010. The training will involve ten Master Trainers from the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), and the Council for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), and trainers from Kampong Speu and Siem Reap Provinces.

Stakeholder Analysis For The MRC Basin Development Plan Programme PHASE 2 (BDP2)
The MRC began developing its approach to stakeholder participation in the late 1990s, shortly after the signing of the 1995 Agreement. In 1998 the MRC produced the booklet, Public Participation in the Lower Mekong Basin, but implementation of public participation in the MRC has been stalled until the new initiatives under the Basin Development Plan began in 2008.
This report is a supplement to the Stakeholder Participation and Communication Plan (SPCP) that has been in preparation since early 2008, and is now being finalized (as of March 2009).

National Farmer’s Forum on Climate Change to be held on March 4, 2010
In cooperation with Catholic Relief Services, the NGO Forum on Cambodia and Geres Cambodia, Caritas Cambodia together with the Council for Agriculture and Rural Development and National Committee for Disaster Management seek participation in the first national farmer’s forum on climate change to be held March 4, 2010 at National Insstitute of Education, Phnom Penh. The forum will bring together farmers, NGOs, as well as Governmental Organizations concerned about climate change issues to disseminate and discuss the issue with the aim to increase farmers’ deeper understanding and priorities on the issue as well as to initially explore adaptive measure especially regarding food production.
